Today I have some water decals from RLR Creations to share with you. I've had these for a while but never used them on myself. The one time I used them on someone else didn't go so well. How are you lovely ladies doing? They are calling for our area to have some snow sometime today, which does not make me a happy camper. First of all let me apologize for my nails and cuticles. I filed my nails way too short and I hate the way they look. My cuticles are super dry, the winter is wreaking havoc on them. I've been oiling them nightly and lotioning multiple times a day but I may need to oil twice a day. I wasn't gonna post today but I just couldn't pass this weeks AIS theme up since I have been loving animal print so much.

I have a personal question to ask? How do you guys manage to stay happy once the winter months set in? I am usually so happy and upbeat almost all summer longer but once the colder weather sets in I drop into this seemingly unending funk. I've been dealing with this for the past two weeks and I'm thinking I need to win the lottery and buy a house south of the Equator so I can live in the sunshine year-round. LOL

Ok enough moping, onto what you came for...nails! For this look I started with SC Envy, a polish I snagged out of Walgreens' clearance bins a few weeks back for 50 cents! It's a very nice medium green that covers perfectly in two coats.

The theme for this weeks AIS was Halloween. Perfect timing since I had just seen a design similar to this by Diana van Nisselroy that I had been wanting to try. I fell in love with the colors the first time I saw it, and I couldn't to try my hand at it.

Today's mani came about after what I was going for kept failing horribly. I was going for monster blood drips and if you follow me on instagram you know how that went. If you don't let's just say it wasn't good. Finally, after getting fed up I just decided to stamp something and call it a night.  I kept the same colors and started with a base of Sally Hansen Limestreet. I was out of topcoat so I added a coat of NL to speed up drying time haha.

Yay it's Sunday! Or as I like to refer to it: TV Night lol. Everyone who knows me knows not to call between 8-10. Anyway, onto what you came here for. This weeks theme for AIS was over a holo base. I realized that I only have two linear holos and they are both black so it would have to be a scattered for me. I chose to use Daring Digits Amethyst and amp it up with a coat of Northern Lights. Please forgive these pictures, it's been cloudy out so I had to use the flash.

I can't believe I waited so long to do my first Halloween mani of the year. I was so excited for October to get here and then I got caught up in other things and half the month is gone already! That makes me a saddy pants :( I have another planned, make that two just thought of something else I want to try lol. The weather has started to take a turn towards fall here (at least I think so, some in my house would beg to differ) but I'm still holding on to the last little bit of summer. To me it never really felt like summer here, and although I generally like fall I'm just not ready to give up my green grass, warm sun rays and the smell of freshly cut grass. So for this mani I went with neons, something I've been meaning to do since May!
