Turkey Day: A Sorta Fail

Who's ready for another fail? Well, its only a sorta fail but anyway... I decided that this year I wanted to do Thanksgiving nails because I don't *think* I did any last year. I really can't remember lol. I also decided I was gonna try my hand at making a stamping decal. It seemed easy enough...

I started with Zoya Kristen which is just a phenomenal polish, I just keep coming back to it time and time again. I wanted something totally out of the norm for this one. Then I stamped with Zoya Sooki and Winstonia W112. I misplaced the leaves on my index but no bigger. The real trouble came with the decal....

I had no trouble stamping it or lifting it off the stamper. The big thing was filing in the lines and placing it. Painting inside those tiny lines is harder then it seems, doesn't help that I couldn't find my detail brush. I think it might have grown legs lol. And I forgot to trim it before I placed it so it took three coats of topcoat to smooth it out. It look aight far away but upclose you can really see had bad it is. Apparently I never learned to color inside the lines lol.

Overall I guess to not bad for a first go but why oh why can't it ever come out perfect at first? Wouldn't it so much easier? lol Anyway, what do you ladies think\? Let me know below. As always, thanks for stopping by, and I hope you enjoyed :)
