Hello loves and welcome back. I was recently contacted by Maple Holistics and offered a chance to review some of their products. I love trying new shampoos so I was very excited. I chose to try the Tea Tree Oil Shampoo and the Ancient Facial Clay Mask.

If you're like me and have never heard of Maple Holistics they are "a US based beauty company that has been around for the past few years. We develop and manufacture our own all natural cosmetics, animal cruelty free, here in the USA, with a focus on shampoos and conditioners.

I love Tea Tree Oil shampoos so I was really excited when I saw it on their site. I suffer from dry scalp and it gets pretty bad in the winter and I get some dandruff. I first started using them in my freshman year of high school when I started getting my hair chopped at the end of the school year and my hairdresser commented that my scalp was dry. I instantly fell in love with them and did notice a difference but for some reason I just haven't been using them the past couple years.
"Tea Tree Oil on it's own contains over 98 all-natural compounds...the International Aromatherapy and Herb Association states that not all Tea Tree shampoos are safe to use, and their quantities of Tea Tree may not be effective. Maple Holistic's Tea Tree Shampoo utilizes a well balanced formula that provides safety, quality an results.
MH TT Shampoo also contains rosemary which "works to stimulate the cell renewal of the hair follicles as the tea tree simultaneously clears out the dead ones." This will increase circulation and regulate the oils, leaving you with smooth and refreshed hair. There is also lavender in it which "works to clear away any blemishes on the scalp and ease the pain of burns and prevents infections." This promotes rapid healing and reduces scarring.
I've been using this for over a month now and my scalp seems a lot healthier and I'm no longer in danger of turning into Allison Reynolds lol. I might also be slightly addicted to the tingling sensation that comes from using a tea tree oil shampoo.

I was also sent some of the Ancient Clay Facial Mask to try. This was my first time using a mud mask that you have to mix so it was a little strange to me lol.
"There are many different clay options available on the market which isolate the therapeutic advantages and limit the decision to a single choice. Ancient facial mask solves the problem by offering a combination mix of the top three therapeutic clays on the market."
It contains French Green Clay which "plays a role in the absorption and removal of impurities from the skin, while stimulating blood flow to create healthy and glowing skin." Bentonite Clay which "is especially effective on oily skin. Bentonite has incredible absorbing properties and is thought to remove acne-induces toxins and revitalize tired skin." Fuller's Earth which is "most commonly known for it's ability to reduce acne scars, blemishes, and blackheads.
It comes with two little scoops that you use to measure out the clay and water. The instructions say to use one scoop of clay to two scoops of water but this makes way too much for me so I used about half that. I've been using this twice a week for ten minutes and I've really seen an improvement in my skin. I did get a big breakout at first but that's normal with most new products of this type. The most improved has to be the dissapearnce of the blackheads in my nose and the reduced size of my pores.

I also received a vanilla scented lip balm but I don't see it on the site. I didn't notice that it made much difference on my lips but it does work nice as a back-up cuticle balm lol.

I was very pleased with my experience with these products and I see myself returning to the site to purchase more shampoo and also trying out their conditioners. They have a winter scent that I really want to try. If you try some of their products I reccommend checking out this page for some free products. What do you ladies think? I hope you don't mind this break from nail polish, I promise I have more nail stuff coming. As always, thanks for stopping by, and I hope you enjoyed :)
