F4 Polish: Strawberries, Mint and some Piper

Good morning ladies, today I have an indie polish review for you. These are my first indies (as you already know) and I am hooked! I am itching to buy more, more, more...anybody wanna let me borrow their credit card? lol I'm only joking (anyone?)

The ladies at F4 Polish were kind enough to send me three of their polishes to review. I couldn't get the package opened fast enough when they came. I received Strawberry Shortcake, Mint Chocolate Chip, and Piper. I have been drooling over Strawberry Shortcake for months, so when asked which ones I'd like to review I requested that one, and asked for them to pick the rest. They must have known about my love of all things mint too.

**Warning, this post is kind of picture heavy** so join me after the break to see these lovelies in action!

Quick Tip

Good afternoon ladies, I just have a quick tip that I wanted to share with ya'll. If you are anything like me you hate when you buy polishes without names somewhere on the bottle. Luckily, the ones I got today came in a package with the name on it, so I decided to cut the name off and tape it to the bottom of the bottle. If there is no packaging, you can just write the name on paper and then tape it to the bottle.

Scotch tape or masking tape will probably work better, it will definitely look better, but all I had was medical tape. I hope this helps and you enjoyed....thanks for stopping by and enjoy the rest of your day! :)

mmmmm Jelly Sandwich....fail :(

Good morning ladies, I decided that I was gonna try to make my very first jelly sandwich today. And once again I managed to create a big ol' fail. I don't think it was all me though. The Kleancolor that I used was just a mess. The base was really gloopy and I had to fish for the glitter hearts, whip them on paper and then apply them to my nail with tweezers. Anyway, the pictures below are two coats of Zoya Laurie, what should be one coat of Kleancolor Twinkly Love and another coat of Laurie.

Another problem I had was that Laurie was too sheer for the thickness of the glitter hearts. Maybe a second coat on top would have helped but I was just frustrated by this point. I got so irritated with the whole mess that by the time I got to my thumb I was ready for something else. So, I swatched one coat of F4 Polish Strawberry Shortcake. Even though I only got one of the white glitters I still thought it was gorgeous. I love the micro red glitter!
.

So, a fail overall, but that one coat of Strawberry Shortcake started to pull me out of the funk that the Kleancolor caused. But I am not giving up on jelly sandwiches. I have seen so many pretty ones. I just need more practice. I will warn you now to be prepared for more fails lol.

Thank you for stopping by and enjoy the rest of your day!

**Update**

Good morning ladies, first I want to give you an update on how well On A Trip held up. I wore it from Tuesday until this morning. That's what 6 days? ( I suck at numbers lol) The company says that you can get up to 5 days of wear without chips and I got over that. I am extremely happy with this line! These pictures are from this morning.

As you can see no chips and very minimal tip wear. For about $2-3 a bottle I am blown away. I can't wait to get some more.

Secondly I was wondering what you are thinking of the new blog look. I love these colors together. I think its calming. It also reminds me of my favorite Vera Bradley pattern Java Blue. So, just leave me a comment down below and let me know.

Thank you for stopping by. Enjoy the rest of you day!

Wet n Wild Megalast On A Trip

Morning ladies, today I have Wet n Wild's Megalast On A Trip for you. This is the first polish that I have tried from this line. I wasn't expecting much but I really wanted this color after seeing a couple swatches of it and thanks to Copious it only cost me a penny. So, I figured what did I have to lose? I was pleasantly surprised!
