Fun with Zoya Wednesday and Zuza!

Good evening ladies, I hope you all are enjoying your day. It's raining here, so that's a bummer :(

Last night I was having trouble deciding what to do for my mani today so I posted my choices on facebook and asked for suggestions. Polished by Maddie suggested Wednesday and Zuza, thus solving my problem! I decided to do french tips since I haven't had them in a while. I'm sure you've had enough of my blabbering, so on to the pictures:

NOTD: Fiancée Edition

Hello ladies, today I have a NOTD fiancée edition:

I used Zoya Mira and Zoya Heidi as the accent color

Heidi IS NOT color accurate

I liked these two colors together IRL. I think what we have learned from this is that I can't paint other peoples nails lol. Heidi went on great and was opaque in two coats, but Mira was runny. If this had been my first experience with Zoya I don't know that I would go back. Well, that's it! Enjoy the rest of your day :)

Tattoo Nail Art

Good early morning ladies, once again I can't sleep, so I decided to play around with some nail art.

A few months ago cutepolish posted a video on youtube about how to do tattoo nails. I was dying to try it and just recently found some temporary tattoos that I liked. So, tonight my fiancee has wonderfully allowed me to practice on her nails (she will do this from time to time).

What I love most is the simplicity: just a white base coat, apply the tattoo as you would on your skin, then seal with a topcoat! I also tried it with a colored base coat and....well lets just say it was a fail :(

Although mine didn't work out, I can't wait to try this again. What do you think? Is this something that you'll try? Leave me a comment and let me know :)

Try It On Tuesday

Good evening ladies, I trust you all had a good day? I just thought that I would put up a quick post while my cookies were in the oven. I've been seeing all these wonderful ladies doing the "Try it on Tuesday", and thought I would try it too. I have a set of LA Colors that I got about a month ago and have just been sitting on my shelf, so I decided to grab one of those.

 Unfortunately , none of these seem to have a name :(, so we're gonna call it Metallic Blue:

So there you have it. I'm not sure how I feel about it yet. Lately I've been into blues, but this one just doesn't feel right to me. I think it may be that in some lights it looks green, but at less then a dollar per bottle I'm not complaining.
