Hello loves, welcome back. Why does today feel like a Monday, I double checked three times to make sure it wasn't lol. Is it too early to go back to bed?! Anyway, today I have the latest craze to sweep the stamping world, clear stampers. This one is from Born Pretty Store.
I was super excited when I saw they had a clear jelly stamper on their site (Item #24021). I had considered purchasing the original but after looking into the cost and seeing some reviews I was disenchanted.
My biggest problem with the original was the firmness of the head. I've gotten so used to just being able to squish my finger into the stamper and you can't with that one. So I was so pleased that the BP one has some give to it. I wouldn't call it a jelly or marshmallow but it is sorta squishy.
I didn't need to prime this either. These test images are straight out of the bag. Please excuse the hairs, cats. You must use a rolling motion to pick up the image, and don't use a lot of pressure.
For my mani I wanted to use an image that was best centered. This was my first time using it so please forgive any mistakes, those are all mine. I started with a base of Kleancolor Pastel Teal and an image from BM-604. I thought that was a little too plain so I used Nina Ultra Pro Purple Pizazz to fill the spaces in.
I got a little happy with the purple and covered some of the stamp. I tried to go back over some of the lines but it was only making it worse.
Don't let my debauchery sway you though, I'm in love with this. I've been reaching for it at every turn. What do you ladies think? Have you tried a clear stamper? I know some don't like them. As always, thanks for stopping by, and I hope you enjoyed :)
