Hello loves and welcome back. I told you last time that today I would show you the prettiest manicure from Hades aka how I actually wore Orly Mirrorball. I know it doesn't look like it but it took me close to 3 hours to complete this look. I tried about 10 different stamping plates and about 6 polishes and none of them were working for me. Luckily I remembered to topcoat my base so I didn't have to keep taking it off and starting over.
What I finally settled on (or what actually worked) was my pointer and pinkie stamped with MoYou London Pro08 and MDU Orchid. My middle and ring fingers are stamped with Winstonia W202 and MDU Lemon Tree and Iris. I just think that hummingbird image is adorable. I also enjoyed how the stamps didn't cover up Mirrorball too much. While it's definitely not what I set about to do I loved the end result of these. It's 4PM Monday and I still can't bring myself to remove these even thought they are starting to chip on my right hand. I've worn it all weekend and I'm usually over nail art by then. What do you ladies think? As always, thanks for stopping by, and I hope you enjoyed :)
Just love these nails! Particularly the stamping done on the pinky and pointer nail :)
ReplyDeleteThank you, it's definitely in my Top 10 polishes. :)
ReplyDeleteThese are awesome! I love that hot pink over the holo! The decals are super cute. I need to do some over-holo stamping soon. You have inspired me!
ReplyDeleteHow frustrating! At least your finished look turned out great. I would have given up!
ReplyDeleteLove the base and the stamping looks cute as well
ReplyDeleteThat pink stamping looks SOOOOO good over the base! I love it!
ReplyDeleteLove the stamping over mirrorball! It's a great combination and you kind of get a feel for each of the colors in the holo reflection.
ReplyDeleteI need to check Orly Mirrorball, I think I might need it!
ReplyDeleteOh wow, those MdUs are so crisp they look like decals! This is so pretty!
ReplyDeleteDon't you hate when that happens and nothing is working out! Ugh! It's so frustrating! But the end result is super cute!
ReplyDeleteI really love the combo of the holo and the colourful stamping! But why did the other stamping plates not work? Why? That's such a nuisance!
ReplyDeleteYou've reminded me how much I need Mirrorball! This is so pretty!
ReplyDeleteThis looks too perfect! Beautiful!

ReplyDeleteI'm in total love with Mirrorball. I'm really tempted to get a bottle but I already have so many silver holo types.
ReplyDeleteI totally understand, I don't have many silver holos but I still think I would need this one because of the glitter flakes....or my hoarding tendencies lol :)
