Hello loves and welcome back. I have two more (and the last for now) plates from Born Pretty to share with you. I'm officially all caught up on swatching and reviewing and all that is left now is for the post to go live. I love that feeling! But anyway, on to the plates. First we have BP-52.
This is another floraly plate that would be perfect for lead lighting. As you can see all the images picked up beautifully. The flower that I used below on my pinkie is not fully etched, which is a bummer, but probably wouldn't take much to connect with a brush. My favorite image is the little butterfly, it's just so adorable.
For my base I used Kleancolor Neon Pink and stamped with Konad Black Gold. I went in after I stamped and added in dots using BEGL Bound To The City Life, I think I may have went a little overboard with them though. lol
Next up we have BP-L002, another one of their rectangle plates. It's divided in two, which gives you two square plates. My favorite side is probably the left one. Again, I see these images being really good for lead lighting. I didn't have very many images that worked too well for it before and now I have plenty.
The image is very nicely etched and the only image that gave me trouble was the big leaf on the bottom left side (see bottom row). I really want to stamp those swirls in a rainbow of colors.
For this mani I started with a base of Sally Girl Firecracker and stamped using MDU Holland Blue and the flower image from the right side of the plate. It didn't really translate to my nails the way I had hoped it would but I still kinda like it.
Born Pretty Store has really stepped up their stamping plate game as of late, in fact they are releasing a whole bunch more plates on the 23rd of this month! There are a couple that I have my eye on. What do you ladies think? Do you have any BP plates, any that you are wanting? All info, and a coupon code, will be linked below. As always, thanks for stopping by, and I hope you enjoyed :)
Both have some great floral designs to them.
