Twinkie Nail Art Challenge December Week 2: Tape Mani

Hello lovelies, it's time for another installment of the Twinkie Nail Art Challenge. Can you guys believe that I've successfully been participating in this since August and I've only ever been late one week!? I must be the queen of starting things and not completing them lol. This week's theme was tape manis and I could not for the life of me find any of the 30 rolls of striping tape that I have! I just used some regular tape and I kinda feel like this is a cheat mani.

 I started this with two coats of Spellbound Nails Life of the Party, which unfortunately is no longer available as it was a Gloss48 exclusive, and then did little triangles at my cuticles using Cupcake Polish Ornamentary My Dear. I took a photo of the tape on nails but you couldn't see it that well, so I left that out.

I really enjoyed these but I kinda feel like it's cheating because when I think of a tape mani, I see something really elaborate. I had so many ideas floating around in my head but they all needed thinner pieces of tape. What do you ladies think? As always, thanks for stopping by, and I hope you enjoyed :)
