Hello loves, welcome back. Today I have the Christmas collection from Spellbound Nails to share with you. It is based on the movie A Christmas Story and has a little something to please everyone.
The formulas on all of these were amazing, I didn't have any type of application issues. It does seem as if her base has thinned with the last few releases but that makes it more on par with how the majority prefers it. This five piece collection includes two glitter toppers, a holo, a jelly and a crelly. I used Revlon Gel-Shine topcoat for all my swatches.

A Pink Nightmare: "a pink crelly filled with hot pink glitter in two different sizes and medium white dots. Inspires by the dreaded pink bunny suit complete with busy white tail." I wasn't sure about this one in the bottle but I really like it on the nail. I did let it sit upside down for a few minutes and didn't have too much trouble getting the white dots out. I like that they can be pretty sparse. Three coats.

Ho...Ho...Ho: "a glitter topper with small red, white and green glitters. This is inspired by one of my favorite scenes from the movie where Santa is grumpy and his elves are rude and Santa uses his foot to push Ralphie down the slide." Hehe I would totally be that Santa if I had to deal with all those kids. I layered two coats of this over Zoya Spencer. I did use a bit of the dabbing method but you don't really need to.

You'll Shoot Your Eye Out: "a glitter topper packed full of holographic glitter. Micro-shreds, small and large hexes, medium squares and large dots; its all there!" I loved this from the moment I unpacked it! It reminded me of my favorite Spellbound topper so I'll have a comparison post coming soon for you guys. I did two dabbed coats over Zoya Sia. I did let this sit upside down for about fifteen minutes and didn't have to fish for the large dots.

Ooh Fudge: "a deep, rich chocolate-y brown holographic. Only he didnt say fudge. He said THE word, the big one, the queen mother of dirty words, the F-dash-dash-dash word." Unfortunately my camera didnt like this one and is making it look way too dark, its more the shade of creamy hot chocolate. Makes me feel all warm and toasty. Two coats.

Connoisseur of Soap: "a red jelly with silver holographic micro-shreds and holographic red glitters." I dare say this may be my favorite of the release. They is just something about a holo filled jelly that gets me every time! I did three coats to try to get the bottle color but two is fine for opacity.

Writing this has really put me in the mood for Christmas movies lol. What are some of your favorites? We watch A Christmas Story and A Nightmare Before Christmas every year but I also really like Mrs Santa Clause which is hard to find. This collection releases tomorrow, 11/20, so be sure to check Spellbound's social for the exact time. As always, thanks for stopping by, and I hope you enjoyed :)
