Hi lovelies, are we enjoying our day? I have to the Zoya wishes collection to share with you today, which is their holiday set. In the past Zoya has done some really great winter/holiday collections so I was really looking forward to these. They are really pretty in person and the PixieDust are, as always, the standouts.
This is the first post using my new camera and I'm still getting used to it and trying to find the best settings for my setup. So please excuse any focus issues that you see below :)

Lets start with what turned out to be a surprise favorite, Haven: a "true holiday plum liquid metal with a thin vein of orchid". I really didn't expect to like this one but I was blown away once I applied it. I didn't have any application issues and it dried very fast as well. Two coats with topcoat.

Thea: a "deep amethyst Magical PixieDust with an orchid flash". These set of Pixies remind me of the summer ones in that they have a jelly base and never truly dry down to a matte finish. I don't mind that and they offer great coverage in just two coats. Dry time was average.

Next up is Prim: a "velvet blue metallic". This one is sorta brush strokey but not enough to bother me. A lighter touch when applying or dabbing the second coat on with a sponge will help with that though. Dry time was great and I only needed two coats. This color just doesn't do anything for me personally.

The blue pixie is Nori: a "sapphire blue Magical PixieDust with holographic hex glitter". This one is just gorgeous and really is that bright in person! I only needed two coats and again, dry time was average for a texture. I really love this one.

And the oddball for me, Willa: a "full-coverage, densely pigmented onyx black cream". It did have a really good formula and covered in two coats. I just don't feel that you really need this one, if it had covered in one glorious coat I could probably see it. Two coats with topcoat.
Please excuse the refelctions, I couldn't find a good angle without them being there :(

And lastly, Imogen: a "black crystal Magical PixieDust with holographic hex glitter". Again, two coats and average dry time. Just look at the sparkle in the bottle!

And I wore this for two full days just to see if they would eventually dry any matter but, as I said, it never did. This photo of Imogen was taken yesterday after having it on for 48 hours.

Overall I think I'm a little meh about this collection as a whole. I really enjoy the PixieDust and fell hard for Haven. The other two I could pass on. What do you ladies think? Also head on over to The Mercurial Magpie if you'd like to see the pixies with top coat (they are gorgeous!). As always, thanks for stopping by, and I hope you enjoyed :)
