Zoya Ultra PixieDust Swatch + Review

*The products in this post were sent to my by the company in exchange for an honest review. As always, all opinions are my own. For more info you can view my disclosure policy here.*

Today I finally have my swatches and review of Zoya's latest textures, the Ultra PixieDust. I wanted to post them sooner but I had other things that I had to publish first. Hopefully you're not too tired of these yet. I'm still not 100% how I feel about them but maybe I'll have decided by the end of the post. :/

All of these had the same formulas and application. They applied easily and I only needed two coats of each. As far as how they differ from the other PD it's kind of like the originals and the magicals had a baby lol.

Let's start with Oswin: when I first got the press release I immediately thought of Clara and after reading a few comments on Zoya's FB page I'm convinced there are some Doctor Who fans at Zoya lol. She is my favorite of the set and sorta reminds me of a texture version of CG Ruby Pumps. Two coats shown. This was also dried the mattest of the three.

Next up is Arianna: This one is my second favorite and along with Noir seems to have a jelly base which causes them to not quite be matte when fully dry. I have to keep telling myself that this IS NOT named after a certain pop star though lol. Two coats shown.

And lastly Noir: this is the one I was most excited about since as you may well know red is not one of my favorite polish colors. Unfortunately the addition of the red glitters completely muddles the base and, in my opinion, ruins the polish. I think if they had used purple glitters this would have been my favorite. Two coats shown.

While I love all of these in the bottle I was pretty underwhelmed with them once I had them on. I really wish they would release a set of the original Pixies as they are my favorite to date. Or at least they could have had a larger variety of colors with this set. I'm sure red lovers will be thrilled with these though, as they are great polishes just not my cups of tea. What do you ladies think? As always, thanks for stopping by, and I hope you enjoyed :)
