Twinkie Nail Art January Catch Up: Favorite Sports Team Colors

Hello loves, before we start a new month of the Twinkie Nail Art Challenge tomorrow I wanted to get caught up and share last week's prompt with you. The theme was to use our favorite sports team's colors, I assume because the Super Bowl was last weekend, idk lol. Anyway I decided to try out another splatter mani.

 As I'm sure many of you are already aware I don't really like sports so I don't actually have a favorite team. I do have a team that I like to purchase collegiate gear from, and of the two major teams in my state is the one that I prefer. I mean who wouldn't prefer a tiger over a rooster? lol

For my mani I started with a base of Zoya Savita. I know back when this was re-released there was some talk of it having a skunky smell but at the time mine was fine. Apparently something turned because when I opened it this time I was floored with a horrible smell! Once that was dry (which didn't help the smell any) I used a coffee stirrer with WnW The Clock Strikes Orange and French White Creme to make the design. I also covered my fingers in tape before I started to cut down on the clean up.

I absolutely loved how this came out. I liked it much better than my first attempt at splattering when I used a regular drinking straw. I think the thin white strings are my favorite part. What do you ladies think? As always, thanks for stopping by, and I hope you enjoyed :)
