Hello loves, today I have an "I have to be somewhere in two hours and I can' go with naked nails" mani to share with you. This is one that looking at it now makes my eyes hurt lol. I'm unfortunately still wearing it but it will be coming off just as soon as I have a spare hour!
I finally got to see The Fault In Our Stars over the weekend, yes I realize how late I am but I'm not one to watch movies when they are first released unless I'm really excited for them, so I decided to wear Zeno's Tortoise Paradox (press sample) again. I wanted to add a floral stamp over it so I went with an image from Born Pretty plate BP-20 in Konad Black Gold.
To me this is flower over-power because the image looks more spaced out on the plate then on the nails and it just over powers the base. I should have just stuck to a simple mani since I was in a hurry and didn't have time to change this one it was done. Oh well, what do you ladies think?/As always, thanks for stopping by, and I hope you enjoyed :)
I really love that stamp design. I have a hard time with stamping over glitter polishes because I can never find a design and stamping polish colour to pair well over any glitter polish I have tried with. I always end up disappointed with the final result, but when I see other peoples' designs, I envy their manis.
ReplyDeleteLove that stamping image design a lot. Its cute and pretty.
ReplyDeleteThis looks like the perfect image to do a leadlight look!
ReplyDeleteNice stamping manicure. :)
ReplyDeleteThis is the story of my life. I am always sooo late in watching movies. This is pretty awesome though!!!
ReplyDeleteLove the stamp! I still have yet to see that movie lol sad movies make me sad and I don't like that lol
ReplyDeleteIt's a great design but I can see why it's making your eyes hurt!
ReplyDeleteyou're silly, this is totally lovely!

ReplyDeleteI really like these! That polish is a great color and the stamping image is so pretty!
ReplyDeleteI love the look of stamping over glitter polish!
ReplyDeleteLove that stamp design!
ReplyDeleteThis is so pretty, I don't see why you wouldn't like it! It is busy but not too much :)
ReplyDeleteI actually love that pattern! Maybe the black stamping is a bit too dark for it?
ReplyDeleteThank you Erica <3 I don't even usually wear glitters much less stamp over them lol. I also think stamping over glitters is easier if the glitters are smaller too. :)
ReplyDeleteThank you Lisa :)
ReplyDeleteI didn't even think of that! I'l have to add that to my list lol :)
ReplyDeleteThank you :)
ReplyDeleteThank you :) One of my issues is living in a small town and the nearest good theater being 50 miles away. I'm not about to drive that far and pay $15 just to see a movie that will be on demand sooner or later lol. The little theater in town is only gets certain movies and usually I'm not that interested in them.
ReplyDeleteThank you Cheyenne :) I'm not usually one for sad movies either..those are definitely only for certain days lol.
ReplyDeletelol thank you! :)
ReplyDeleteThank you <3
ReplyDeleteThank you, hopefully I can do the image more justice another time. :)
ReplyDeleteI need to try to do it more often, I always see others do it and it's so pretty. :)
ReplyDeleteI think that's a part of it :)
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, this looks exactly like my wallpaper in the attic haha. I love it as your mani but can't wait to change up my wallpaper lol. Flower Power times a million :p
ReplyDeleteOMG I really love this stamp! I actually gasped when I saw it because I was thinking you could do such cool leadlighting with it!
ReplyDeleteIt is a busy stamped design, but I like it. :) I especially like how there are peeks of colour coming through from the base!
ReplyDeleteThank you Lisa :)
ReplyDeleteoh my :o lol thank you Roselynn :)
ReplyDeleteI know, I don't why I did think of that lol :)
ReplyDeletethank you Katherine :)
ReplyDeleteGoooorgeous!!! The image is so fun! And although it does hide the base colour a bit, it is still an amazing mani!
ReplyDeleteThank you! :)
