Hello loves and welcome back. Today I have my picks from the SinfulColors Professional Spring Fever 2015 collection to share with you. I'm sorry this post is late going up but we had company yesterday and I got behind lol. I did get to play with the cutest little ratty named Rufus so it was worth it lol. On to the swatches...
First up we have one of the oldest polishes in my collection, Why Not: a "clear sky blue". I've had this for about three years now and it still applies just as good as it did the day I bought it. This almost glides on by itself. Shown is two coats with topcoat.
Next we have one of the new toppers, Prized Plume: a "iridescent peacock-feather blue". I layered two coats of the this over Why Not for the most shimmer. In low lighting this sorta has a greenish shift that is so pretty. It doesn't really look like much in bright light though. I didn't have any application issues and dry time was pretty good. Shown with topcoat. This is part of their Opalescent Trend Toppers.
Say you will, say you won't, so you'll do what I don't..sorry hehe.. that song is so catchy and this name totally reminded me of it. Sail La Vie: a "cerulean sea blue". This was so pretty and one that I was so excited to finally own. Unfortunately it was really streaky and what you see is three coats but it still wasn't completely even in person. The bottle color is a little more true to life. Shown with topcoat.
Tempest: a "subtly seductive purple". This is one of my favorite shades on purple and kinda reminded me of Zoya Malia (would you like a comparison?). This one was pretty good and was completely even after three coats. Luckily it dried pretty quickly and I didn't have any application problems. Shown with topcoat.
Another new shade is Zest of Times: a "lustrous magenta". I have seen this built up on its own but I decided to layer two coats over Tempest. I love the combo and I'd like to find a polish this color because five coats of polish just isn't something that I wanna do all the time lol. I would give this some time between coats because it is sorta jelly-ish but I didn't have any application problems. Shown with topcoat. This is part of their Citrus Twist Toppers.
And lastly, we have Flower Power: a "baby pink speckled with white & fuchsia". I was kinda worried that this wasn't gonna get opaque on its own but I was pretty satisfied with three coats. I got really nice glitter distribution and didn't need any fishing or dabbing. I did wait a couple minutes between coats though. Shown with topcoat. This is part of their Bloomblast Glitters.
There are quite a few more that make up this release and I would really like to find the other two Opalescent toppers, Citrus Twist toppers and Bloomblast glitters. These will be available at Walgreens and other mass retailers for spring. What do you ladies think? As always, thanks for stopping for by, and I hope you enjoyed :)
