Spellbound Nails Classic Romance Trio Swatch & Review

Hello loves, I hope you are all having a wonderful Thursday. I'm sorry this post is going up so late in the day but I just got these swatched early this morning and finding time to edit and write the post took a while. But, without further ado I give you the Spellbound Nails Classic Romance Trio:

"A trio of nail spolishes inspired by all things traditional and classically Valentine's Day but done in an unexpectedly darker way." There are two holos and a pastel glitter topper in this collection and they all had the same smooth even formula and great dry time. I only added topcoat to the glitter because the others dried to a nice shiny finish.

Let's start with my favorite Chocolate Coated Kisses: "a lovely rich chocolatey brown with added holographic effect." This one had a golden flash to the holo. I've been wanting a nice deep brown holo and this really delivered. It also comes with the option of a scent which will leave your nails smelling like Tootsie Rolls, yum! Shown in two coats.

Next is Love Bug Bouquet: "a gorgeous vampy oxblood red with a wonderful holographic effect." This one also had a golden flash to the holo. This one comes with the option of a rose scent, which while nice, just isn't my cup of tea. Show in two coats.

And last but not least, All My Love: "a confetti of baby pink hexes in two size, baby blue hexes and a sprinkling of white and shred glitter." I just can't get enough of this! I absolutely love pastels and this goes so well with the other two but would also look nice over many colors. I only used one sorta dabbed coat and as you can see got plenty of coverage. I wish I could do those gorgeous brush shots like The Mercurial Magpie to show the amount of glitter that comes out on the brush. I wore it over CCK with topcoat and I couldn't bring myself to remove it.

Once again Ashley knocks it out of the park. My favorites are Chocolate Coated Kisses and All My Love, btw I can still smell the chocolate scent through the extra layers of glitter and topcoat. You will be seeing Love Bug Bouquet again because I have some nail art planned with it. This set is already available in Spellbound's Shop and she is currently running a sale on her discontinued polishes so it's the perfect time to grab some of her older holiday lines as well. What do you ladies think? As always, thanks for stopping by, and I hope you enjoyed :)
