Hello loves and welcome back. Today I have some new goodies to share with you from Spellboud Nails. Ashley has been quite busy lately so I have a lot to show you in the next few months, I'm just waiting for the go-ahead. But today I'm pleased to bring you her fall 2015 collection: The Mountains Are Calling.
This collection consist of six shimmery shades of Ashley's favorite colors of fall and named after her favorite fall things. I used Seche Vite for all swatches.
Cinnamon Tea: "a pinked red polish with shimmering blue micro-flakes and two sizes of holographic red glitters."
Save the hot chocolate for winter because nothing quite chases the nighttime fall chill from your bones quite like cinnamon tea.
I loved the blue shimmer in this one. It wasn't too thick or thin and you can get away with two coats but I did three. So pretty.
Long Car Rides: "a crisp fall orange with gold micro-flakes and two sizes of holographic orange glitters."
This one just screams fall to me. It wasn't too thick or thin and I again used three coats. I did find it a little sheer on the first coat but it built up nicely.
Book In Hand: "an evergreen polish with green-gold micro-flakes and two sizes of bright lime green colored holographic glitters."
This one took my breath away, I didn't want to take it off! Not too thick or thin and you only need two coats. I'm such a sucker for greens.
Stillness in the Air: "a deep silvery midnight blue polish with gunmetal grey micro-flakes and bright flecks of holographic blue glitters in two sizes."
This one was so sparkly it freaked out my camera, it's so much better in person. Not too thick or thin but a little sheer at first and built up nicely with three coats.
Sunset by the Dock: "a deep royal purple polish with light lavender-gold micro-flakes and two sizes and shapes of bright purple holographic glitters."
Purple lovers rejoice, this is so pretty. I also really love how the lavender glitters pop. Not too thick or thin and is good in three coats.
Sittin' On a Park Bench: "a tawny brown polish with red-gold micro-flakes and two sizes and shapes of holographic gold glitters."
I'll admit that I didn't think that I would like this one from looking at the bottle, but once it was on the nails I really liked it. The sparkle in person is insane and the gold against the brown base is beautiful. Not too thick or thin and perfect in three coats.
This is a very cohesive collection and they are all such beautiful fall-esq shades. My favorites are Book in Hand, Long Car Rides and Sittin on a Park Bench, which are yours? These are should be available on Ashley's site very soon. As always, thanks for stopping by, and I hope you enjoyed :)
