Twinkie Nail Art Challenge January Week1: Rainbow

Hello lovelies, today I have the first prompt for the Twinkie Nail Art Challenge for 2015 and it's a good one! Unfortunately there is chatter that this may be the last month of the challenge which makes me a super saddy pants, I've been motivated to try out some really cool techniques while doing this and I've had a lot of fun. Let's just hope that Beckie changes her mind :) Anyways, this weeks prompt was rainbow!

 I decided to try a vertical gradient, something I've been meaning to do forever. After my white base I sponged using Orly Poison Apple, WnW The Clock Strikes Orange, China Glaze Lemon Fizz and Zoya Tilda, Ling and Savita. I topped all that with a coat of Fairy Dust. I finished it all off by stamping the dots and butterfly from Winstonia W112 with Konad white and black gold.

I love how these look in photos, not so much in real life. I kept dinging my thumb (hence the butterfly stamp) and the top of my middle nail is smudged. I think one thing I should work on in 2015 is not worrying about those little things so much, would you have noticed them had I not pointed it out? What do you ladies think?
