Twinkie Nail Art Challenge October Week 2: Splatter

Hi girls, are we enjoying our Friday? This week's TNAC prompt was splatter nails, something I haven't done before. I was excited to try them and relieve that I didn't create a huge mess. Of course my right hand turned out better, go figure right..

I started with a base of Zoya Dovima (press sample). I wanted something matte to contrast against my "monster blood" splatter and I thought it was perfect. I will have swatches all the reissued Matte Velvets coming up next week. For my splatter I used one of my favorite greens, Pure Ice Wild Thing.

For the splatter part I used a straw dipped into the polish and just blew. There's not really much to it lol. I had seen a tutorial a while back on it by Young Wild and Polished showing how to do it so I guess you can say I used that lol. It took a while to get the hang of it, which is why my other hand was better.
