Firecracker Lacquer Captivating Creatures Collection

*The products in this post were sent to me by the company in exchange for an honest review. As always, all opinions are my own. For more info you can view my disclosure policy here.*

Today I am really excited to share another new to me indie, Firecracker Lacquer. I'm also sharing with you two beautiful new polishes that will be releasing tomorrow as part of the Captivating Creatures collection. There will also be some other goodies available which I will get into down below.

"The Captivating Creature Collection is the second line from Firecracker Lacquer. The collection will go live at 10am MST on August 8th. There will also be nail studs and rhinestones added to the shop that day, priced at $1 per bag." It is comprised of six linear holos and they may appear scattered in some lights. I have two to share with you today.

Penguin Parade: "a true black linear holographic." This one is a repromote from the original collection. This one only seemed linear to me. It was little sheerer than I expected but I only needed two coat for full coverage. I had a few bald spots on a couple nails however so I used three coats to even everything out. Dry time was great and I didn't encounter any application problems.

I have a couple more black holos and each one is unique. I really love this one, and the fact that it's named after penguins just make it all the better. If you've been here a while then you know I love penguins!

Macam March: "a dusty blue linear holographic." I expected this one to be sheer however it was more so that PP. It more than made up for that on the second and third coats though. Again, dry time was good and didn't have any application problems.  This one did however seem to be more of a scattered holo unless you were in direct sunlight.

Another thing that I loved about these were the brushes. They spread out nicely so I only needed two strokes to cover the entire nail. But, they also don't splay out and get polish everywhere either. You have to apply a little pressure first.

Kendahl will also start selling studs and rhinestones. She was kind enough to include a sample of six of the ones that she offers. She will be offering "circles, squares, triangles, stars, and hearts in neon; and triangles in silver. Rhinestones are available in bright colors, and iridescent finish." I meant to use a few of these in the review but I misplaced them. I have since found them and will be using them later on.

As if all that wasn't enough, in celebration of Kendahl's birthday there will be a limited edition polish included in orders $25 or higher made from August 8-26th. She is keeping it top secret but says that if "you like glitter, you’ll LOVE it!." I for one can't wait to see it!

What do you ladies think? I'll have all the shop info below. As always, thanks for stopping by, and I hope you enjoyed :)
