Born Pretty Store Plate QA86 Review and Swatch

*Some of the products in this post were sent to me by the company in exchange for an honest review. As always, all opinions are my own. For more info you can view my disclosure policy here.*

Today I have another stamping plate from the Born Pretty Store to share with you. I had another product to reivew as well but it was defective so I'm currently waiting for a replacement for that one. I'm a little bummed because I was really looking forward to trying that one but I'll have it to share eventually. Onto the matter at hand. Plate QA86:
This plate has a large strip of snowflakes down the center and hearts on either side. There is one full nail image on one side and the rest are individual images. I was really worried about the snowflakes, as they have lots of little details but I didn't have any problems with them. In fact, the whole plate stamped incredibly well.

I also have a mani to show you that I created using this plate. I couldn't wait to try the leadlight technique again, but this time I did the more traditional way of stamping over white and filling it in. I like how this turned out too, but I still think the black is more striking.

I also decided to venture into the world of demo videos and filmed my plate swatching. It is my first video so please be kind. :)

Overall I'm pretty happy with this plate. I did find that using a firmer stamper gives you a crisper image and for some people that may be a problem, me not so much. I do find that most QA plates are a little more finicky so this is not out of the norm. What do you ladies think? As always, thanks for stopping by and I hope you enjoyed :)
