When I swatched SN Watermelon Seeds I thought it would the perfect time to finally put some of the fimo sticks to use that I've got sitting around. I just never know what to do with those things lol. And while I'm not a watermelon lover (gasp :O shocker) my wife loves it and was a big fan of this look.
Over my base I added the watermelon shaped fimo canes to my index and pinky fingers. I didn't topcoat them as I knew I wouldn't get to wear these for more than a couple hours. I then stamped my middle and ring fingers with Cheeky plate CH42. Nothing is as yummy as a juicy slice of watermelon on a hot summer day (or so I've been told lol).
What do you ladies think? Are you a fan of fimo canes? I know that some people don't like them but I don't think they are all that bad. I just don't really ever have any good ideas for them. As always, thanks for stopping by, and I hope you enjoyed :)
Oh I like that polish :D I like fimo canes too, there are some cute designs, but like you I can never think of anything creative to do with them.
ReplyDeleteThese are cute!
ReplyDeleteThis is so adorable! :) My husband isn't a big fan of watermelon either, but I am. :)
ReplyDeleteIsn't it so pretty? I have whole drawer full of them and most of the time I stare at them like what they heck do I do with you? lol And then when people purchase the jumbo packs with hundreds of sticks, it boggles my mind.
ReplyDeleteThank you Lisa :)
ReplyDeleteThank you Sarah :) I will say that I prefer actual watermelon over watermelon flavor things. I hate artificially flavored things of that nature, same way with banana flavors.
ReplyDelete<.< .. I was one of those people when I did a nail art challenge - I bought a bunch of them because I didn't want to run out in case I got more participants, and now I have a whole drawer full of 'em.
ReplyDeleteI feel the same way about artificial banana anything... blech. :-o
ReplyDeletelol I miss your nail art challenge, it's the only one that I've ever done :)
