Born Pretty Store Plate QA91

Today I have the BPS plate QA91 (ID:#15090) to share with you. This one caught my eye because of the stripe and chevron designs. I'm a little obsessed the chevron nails atm, I keep wanting to get some nail vinyls and just never do. So of course those were to first two designs I decided to test out.

 I'm sorry about all the scratches on the plate but I find it easier to photograph with the blue film and the scratches were only on the the film. It also comes with a blue film on the back but there is no paper backing so be careful once you remove it. As you can see it has some other cute designs in addition to the stripes and chevron. Now that I'm staring at it  I really like the vine image in the middle too.

I tried to film a demo video and let's just say that I have a newfound respect for anyone who makes tutorials. I always knew it took a lot of work, but even just finding a camera angle that I liked proved a little too difficult. lol

The first mani I did used DP's Peach Cobbler and MoYou blue stamping polish with the diagonal stripe design. I really enjoyed the look of the blue with the peach. I was also rather surprised that I was able to keep those lines straight as I was applying the stamp. They were a few places that didn't pick up by I'm okay with that.

And I also just couldn't resist using the chevron pattern with DP's Blueberry Pie. I've had this on for about four days now. This one had a little more space that didn't pick up but I realized yesterday that it was user error and that a firmer stamper seems to work better on this plate.

Overall I'm happy with this plate. I don't really see myself using the other images but who knows. I am sure that I will get a lot of usage out of the stripes and chevrons though.
