Color Mates Swatch Fest Part 1

*The products in this post were received as gifts. As always all opinions are my own. For more info you can view my disclosure policy here.

Back around Valentine's Day I think it was my wife came home with a bag full of nail goodies, which included six Color Mates polishes. This is a harder to find brand in my area so I'm always excited to find some. Today I have three out of the six to share with you.

First up is Poolside in Panama City. This is a gorgeous hot pink, but it did have tendency to bald and it was watery. The color reminds me a lot of Zoya Whitney . Three coats plus topcoat.

Next up is Acapulco Heat. This burnt orange is on the verge of neon. This too had a thin watery formula and would easily pool. I used three coats with topcoat, but I'd like to see it over white.

Lastly we have Waikiki Kiwi. My kind of pea soup green. This actually had the best formula of the three and I only needed two coats with topcoat.

The one good thing that all these had was that they dried super fast. Unfortunately I don't think I'll be keeping these. Between the bad formula on the first two and them being so similar to some I already have I'll just pass them along to my sister. What do you ladies think? As always, thanks for stopping by, and I hope you enjoyed :)
