Above The Curve Power To The Polish Peeps Spring Collection

I'm very excited to be sharing the spring collection from Above The Curve with you today. This is such a generous brand and these are some adorable polishes. I'll share more about their generosity at the end, just in case you aren't familiar with them.

First up we have Have You Peeps Call My Peeps, a beautiful color with what appears to be a slight scattered holo shimmer. I will warn you that this is known to stain. Angel made me aware of this beforehand so I doubled up on my base coat, and I didn't have any stains. I'm told this will be noted in the shop. I really enjoyed this one. Three coats with topcoat.

Next, we have You're A Peepstar!, a pastel yellow multi glitter mix. In some lights the base almost reminded me of cake batter. This color just scrams spring and Easter to me. I used three coats with topcoat.

And lastly my favorite, Playing For Peeps, a multi glitter mix in a mint base. My photos, unfortunately, are not color accurate. The base is more along the lines of Sinful Colors Mint Apple. It's a shame my camera disliked it so much because it's gorgeous! Two coats with topcoat.

The formula on all of these was wonderful. I didn't have to fish for any of the glitters, and there was no pulling. I gave HYPCMP a minute or two between coats to dry because of the extra base and the glitters dried very quickly. I am very impressed with this brand, and I can't wait to see the second part of their Doctor Who collection!

In case you weren't aware ATC donates $1 from each of their polishes to The Shriner's Hospital for Children. For more info on Angel's story and why they donate please visit their About Us page here. They are also very generous with multiple giveaways and other fun things with their Fridays At Above The Curve on Facebook so be sure to check them out.

These are set to be released today and may already be available in their shop, and I'll have everything linked below. Which one is your favorite. I highly recommend You're A Peepstar and Playing For Peeps. As always, thanks for stopping by, and I hope you enjoyed :)

  2. I love Have Your Peeps Call My Peeps and Playing For Peeps! I'm so glad to hear doubling up the base coat helped- this is also one of the colors I was sent to swatch. ;-) I'm going to do a test on my non-swatch hand also to see how the staining is.

  3. I wasn't really all that worried about staining since my nails are fairly strong and can take some scrubbing had they come out stained, but I wanted to see if it could be avoided with some extra base coat. And I used a thinner base coat so some ppl might be good with just their normal routine.

  6. I loved that one too. Of course I'm a sucker for all things minty. It too bad I couldn't get color accurate photos cause it's even better irl.
