Hello ladies, I hope you all are doing well. I'm finally starting to feel better, I really wish someone would please tell my stomach to stop being a b**ch. lol Today's look is sort of a fail, to me anyway. I don't know what I was going for with this one though.
I wanted a neutral base so I started with two coats of LA Colors Whipped. I really like this color I just wish the formula was better. It's fairly thin and hard to get even, especially if you're someone who tends to overwork it (guilty). I used two coats but could have gone with a third.
Then I stamped using Sinful Colors Endless Blue and Pueen 46. I'm not sure if my stamping was off, the stamp was wonky or eb was not that great for stamping but this didn't come out so good. I started trying to even it out on my middle finger but that made it worse so I just gave up.
Needless to day this did not stay on long. And if you follow me on Instagram you know this mani was doomed from the start. I dented my index finger on the first coat and had to start over. I would like to try this combo again if I can find a better blue for stamping, anyone know any?
What do you ladies think? Is this a complete fail? Let me know. As always, thanks for stopping by, and I hope you enjoyed :)

ReplyDeleteThis is definitely not a fail. I love bright stamping over a nude base. A good stamping for blue has really got me thinking...! I'm not sure I have one other than Konad Blue xx

ReplyDeleteI hope you start feeling better soon. I've been dealing with this for about 7 years now. I was so close to a diagnosis and then my mom decided she wanted to up and move and I lost my insurance and I couldn't afford the testing anymore.
