Polish Me Silly Candy Cane Kisses and Surprise Me

hello ladies, I hope you are all having a Fantastic! day (hehe I just love the ninth doctor)

*The products in this post were won in a giveaway. As always, all opinions are my own. For more info you can view my disclosure policy here.*

Today I have two polishes from a brand that I have been wanting to try for a while now. They are Polish Me Silly formally known as Lush Lacquer. I won a giveaway on their FB a couple weeks ago for two bottles of my choice from their new Christmas collection. I chose Candy Cane Kisses and Surprise Me.

First up we have Candy Cane Kisses:

Described as: "red and white glitters in a reddish/cranberry jelly base. It is mostly consist of hexagon glitters, circle/dot glitters and a small amount of short fibers/bars."

I used three thin coats and there was some visible nail line but layering would take care of that. I used my preferred tip/swirl method so I had no trouble getting the large glitters out but you may have to fish for them as they are heavier. I had no other application or drying problems. I can see myself wearing this one all year. I know I'll pull it out for Valentine's.

Next is my favorite: Surprise Me

Described as: "it consist mostly of circle/dot glitters and some hexes....All the colors of the rainbow as in this polish." I also see some holographic shimmer in the base.

I did one coat over a green gradient and I just loved how this turned out! It reminds me of the lights on your tree. Again tipping and swirling I had no trouble getting the larger glitters out (thank you Let Them Have Polish for this tip) and no other application or drying problems. I'm really liking this brand. I will use this one again come my birthday.

I was very pleased with these polishes. I know this brand has been around awhile but this being my first experience I have fallen in love. Now if I could just get someone to pick up Blue Gypsy and Mermaid Tears for me lol. I'll have to start badgering the wifey about them. Oh, and I just saw on Instagram they are releasing some new duochromes that look beautiful. I don't have any of then nice ones just some drugstore ones that I don't really care for so I'll have to check those out too.

What do you ladies think? Is this a brand that you love? Let me know below. As always, thanks for stopping by, and I hope you enjoyed :)
