I'm very excited to be showing you the thermal duo that Spellbound Nails created for Halloween. She also created 6 other shades based on the movie Hocus Pocus, you can check those out here. They are all so great, I wish I could have picked them all up. But let's focus on what you came here to see...
First up we have Pumpkin Crusher, the glitter. It's a beautiful orange when cold and a gorgeous green when warm. It has a mix of orange and light green hex glitters throughout. I used two thin coats but two thicker ones will do. The glitters just seemed to flow out and the dry time was super fast. My Grandpa loved this one so much he's currently sporting it on his thumbs!
I had the hardest time getting a picture of it in it's cool state, I guess my nails were just too hot lol. I finally had to dip my nails in cold water, stick them in the freezer against ice cream for a minute then take a pic. Even by then they were mostly back to warm. If I had better lighting I could have taken an underwater pic of them.
And next is my favorite, Unholy Holo. This one is the same orange to green base with a scattered holo. I fell in love with it the minute she announced it! I used three thin coats, but again I think two thicker ones would work. This one also had great application but an even faster dry time.
These are definitely some beautiful and fun polishes. I've been a little distracted since I've had them on yesterday watching them change. Let's just say it took twice as long to do the dishes last night lol. And can we just take a moment to talk about how cute her labels are? They are perfect for Halloween.
Oh, I almost forgot, they are available scented! You can choose Apple Cinnamon, Pumpkin Pie, Candy Corn, Variety and of course unscented. I chose Apple Cinnamon and I have been craving pie ever since I put them on. They smell Ah-Mazing! And there's no waiting for the smell like with some, you smell it as soon as you start painting.
You can get the duo here, but you can buy them individually as well. Also, while you're there, check out the rest of her stock. You won't be disappointed! Be sure to like her on Facebook, to stay up to date with restocks and new releases.
What do you ladies think? Be sure to let me know. As always, thanks for stopping by, an I hope you enjoyed :)
Love them.
ReplyDeleteAs do I, thanks for stopping by! :)
DeleteI'm not a big fan of these. They look interesting but I find thermal and scented polishes a little too gimicky for my liking.
ReplyDeleteto each their own...it's good that we don't all like the same things...I'm easily entertained, almost to the point that it's pathetic lol, so these are right up my alley. I'm sure though it I had a million and wore them everyday I burn out.
