Halloween Mani #1

Hello ladies, I hope you are all having a wonderful day! I'm super annoyed with our postal carrier but I'll get over it. I guess I just feel that during work hours you should drop the personal calls and focus on your job. But I guess putting it down for three seconds and saving yourself two extra minutes of work just isn't worth it. Ok rant over...

I can't believe I waited so long to do my first Halloween mani of the year. I was so excited for October to get here and then I got caught up in other things and half the month is gone already! That makes me a saddy pants :( I have another planned, make that two just thought of something else I want to try lol. This look was inspired by one that Nails by Kayla Shevonne posted a few days ago.

For the gradients I used WnW Stand the Test of Lime and Who Is Ultra Violet? over a white base. I also had to dab a bit of Zoya Siri on the tips because they weren't quite dark enough for my liking. I then stamped them using black and plate W116 by Winstonia. For my ring finger I used two coats of WnW The Clock Strikes Orange and stamped using black and plate W116 again. I finished everything off with a coat of Northern Lights for some added sparkle.

The gradient colors were a little lighter than what I had in mind but overall I really love how it turned out. I really don't want to take it off but there are other things I have/want to do. I only hope that the next thing I have planned turns out as good. What do you ladies think? Let me know below. As always, thanks for stopping by, and I hope you enjoyed :)

  1. This is totally cute!!!!! There are two things that I have put on the backburner: gradients and water marbling. I just can't do either but seeing your mani, I want to try a gradient again! Who would have thought the Pop Art Craze collection would produce such an awesome Halloween mani?!

    1. I've put off water marbles since the last few times I've tried haven't turned out so great. But, I saw some nail art using one I want to try so bad I guess it's time to bite the bullet and try again. I love love love gradients! They gave me a buttload of trouble last year and although I've not perfected them yet I feel more comfortable doing them. I would love to see you try one! :)
