Smushed Roses

Hello ladies, I hope you are all having a good day.

*All the products in this were purchased by me. As always, all opinions are my own. For more info, you can view my disclosure policy here.*

Today I have another one of those post were things didn't turn out quite like you see it in your head. The last few manis I've done have turned out like this. I debate even posting them but in the end I figure why tha heck not? It started off fine, I used one of my favorite yellows: Sally Hansen Mellow Yellow.

I know I've shown you this before but I'm not really happy with the other swatches, so you get to see it again lol. This has one of the best formulas in a yellow I've found. What you see is two easy coats. No dragging or pulling and dries super fast.

My next great idea was to stamp with the new LA Colors polish I had: Metallic Pink. It looked ok but it was a pain to photograph. The final nail in the coffin was the stamp I used. I decided to use the roses from Pueen plate 27. The roses looked really smushed, so I should have known that it wouldn't turn out good.

It was inspired by a mani that Lou Is Perfectly Polished did. I really wish I had the stamp she used, maybe it would have turned out better. Those will be the next plate set I buy so be prepared to see me try this again lol.

I don't even like the design on the plate itself so I don't really even know why I chose to use it.

I just couldn't wait to take this off, no way it was staying on the usual 3 days lol. Do you girls dislike it as much as I do? I really can't wait to get the third Bundle Monster set so I can try this again. As always, thanks for stopping by, and I hope you enjoyed.
