A Little Nail Art

When I swatched LA Color Reckless the other week I decided I would use it as a base in some nail art since I hadn't done any in a while. I have also been wanting to try something using my fan brush. I decided to do a seismograph/wave design. I used Zoya Whitney along with Reckless and Circuits by LA Colors.

After my base of Reckless was completely dry I used tape to section off half my nail and painted the other with Zoya Whitney. Thanks to my horrible placement it's not exactly half but it'll do.

Next I used my fan brush and Circuits to create my lines. This was a little trickier than I thought it would be

(everyone makes it sound really simple). I ended up with big black globby messes. It's umm...interesting looking to say that least. Definitely not what I had in mind.

While not what I set out to do I still kinda like it. What do you girls think? Next time I'll go lighter on the fan brushing. As always, thanks for stopping by, and I hope you enjoyed :)
